Check out State Street’s DOW Diamond ETF (NYSE: DIA) which tracks the market-cap weighted index of 30 industry leaders including such heavy hitters as IBM (NYSE: IBM), Exxon Mobil (NYSE: XOM), Chevron (NYSE: CVX) and 3M (NYSE: MMM).
As you would expect, the index components are very large and have a reasonable payout. As of April 14, the average market cap of companies in the index is nearly $145 billion and the dividend yield is 2.58%. The fund is very popular with $9.2 billion of assets under management and a low expense ratio of 0.18%.
